Terms of Service
Terms governing use of Almighty ecosystem services
Version 2.1 · Effective 2026-08-16
Terms of Service
UrbanPX, LLC ("we," "us," "our," or "Almighty") operates the Almighty ecosystem of applications, including Almighty Budget, Almighty Split, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). These Services are currently provided as web applications at almighty.money and are offered and marketed only in the United States. Native mobile applications are in development and are not currently distributed through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or any other app store.
By creating an account or using any part of the Services, you ("you" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the Services. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide a valid email address and create a password to register.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as needed.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
3. Description of Services
3.1 Almighty Budget
A personal budgeting application that allows you to create budgets, track transactions, manage accounts, monitor net worth, and connect financial institutions via Plaid for automated transaction import.
3.2 Almighty Split
A group expense-splitting application that allows you to create groups, add shared expenses, calculate balances, and record settlements among group members.
3.3 Cross-App Data Flows
When you use both apps with linked accounts, expenses created in Almighty Split are summarized into a review record in Almighty Budget, together with an in-app notification. These records do not create transactions in your budget; entering a shared expense into your budget remains a manual step. Automatic creation of budget transactions from Split expenses is not currently offered.
A single Almighty Pro subscription applies across both apps.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
4.1 Available Plans
| Plan | Price | Features |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Core budgeting and splitting features with standard limits, plus Plaid Lite (1 linked bank account included at no charge). Ad-supported. |
| Pro | $9.99/month or $79.99/year | Full ecosystem access — unlimited Plaid bank linking + auto-import, Pro in Almighty Split included, advanced analytics, and the complete Pro feature set as described in the app. Ad-free. |
A 14-day free trial of Pro is activated automatically for new users. No payment method is collected for this trial and it does not convert into a paid subscription — when the 14 days end, your account reverts to the Free plan unless you choose to purchase Pro. Additional tiers — Pro+ and Business — are planned for future release and are not currently offered. (Reconciled 2026-07-19: removed the retired 3-tier "Almighty" $99.99 plan; conformed to the canonical 5-tier model — code SHA
b88dab5.) (Reconciled 2026-08-09: removed the "priority support" benefit from Pro. Theplatform:priority_supportentitlement flag was removed from the contract on 2026-08-09 because no tier sells priority support; perdocs/ECOSYSTEM_FACTS.md§2.3 — the arbiter for the feature→tier map — it is neither offered at Pro nor gated above it.)
4.2 Billing
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Subscriptions purchased on the web are managed through RevenueCat Web Billing and processed by Stripe, Inc. UrbanPX, LLC is the merchant of record for web purchases and is responsible for billing, cancellation and refunds. In-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play are not currently offered.
- Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Prices are in US dollars and do not include applicable taxes.
4.3 Free Trials
We may offer free trial periods at our discretion. The 14-day Pro trial described in Section 4.1 does not require a payment method and does not convert into a paid subscription; when it ends, your account returns to the Free plan. If we ever offer a trial that requires a payment method and converts into a paid subscription, we will disclose that when you start the trial and before any charge is made.
4.4 Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your account settings. If we later offer subscriptions through an app store, you will cancel those through that store's subscription settings.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to premium features until that date.
- We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
4.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase. Continued use of the Services after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5. Plaid Integration and Financial Data
5.1 Authorization
By connecting a financial institution through Plaid, you authorize Plaid Inc. to access your financial account information on your behalf. This connection is governed by Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.
5.2 Data Retrieved
When you connect an account via Plaid, we retrieve:
- Account names, types, balances, and masks (last 4 digits)
- Transaction history (descriptions, amounts, dates, categories, merchant names)
- Recurring transaction patterns (subscriptions, bills, income)
- Liability details for credit cards, student loans, and mortgages (interest rates, minimum payment amounts, payment due dates, payment history, overdue status, and payoff information)
- Investment holdings and investment transactions (securities held, quantities, cost basis, current values, and buy, sell, dividend, fee, and transfer records)
- Institution name and logo
5.3 Data We Do NOT Retrieve
- Full bank account numbers or routing numbers
- Login credentials for your financial institutions
- Credit card numbers or security codes
5.4 Disconnecting
You may disconnect any linked financial institution at any time through the app. Upon disconnection, the Plaid access token is revoked. Previously imported transaction data remains in your account unless you request deletion.
6. Financial Disclaimer
Almighty Budget is not a financial advisor, broker, or fiduciary. The Services are personal tracking and organizational tools only. Nothing in the Services constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
- Budgets, balances, and calculations are based on data you enter or import and may not reflect your actual financial position.
- Automated categorization and recurring transaction detection are approximate and may contain errors.
- You should consult a qualified financial professional before making financial decisions.
We are not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on information displayed in the Services.
7. User Content and Data
7.1 Your Data
You retain ownership of all data you create or import into the Services, including budgets, transactions, groups, expenses, settlements, account information, and notes ("User Data").
7.2 License Grant
By using the Services, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, display, and transmit your User Data solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you. We do not use your financial User Data — your transactions, balances, budgets, groups, or expenses — to target advertising, and we do not sell your User Data. Advertising shown on the Free plan is served by our advertising partner, which receives only the limited device and connection data described in our Privacy Policy.
7.3 Data Portability
You may request an export of your data at any time by emailing support@urbanpx.com with the subject line "Data Export Request." We will provide your data within 30 days in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON). See Section 11.3 of our Privacy Policy for details.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, other users' accounts, or our systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Services without our written permission.
- Transmit viruses, malware, or any code designed to harm the Services or other users.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Use the Services to store or transmit content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or harmful.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of this section.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Our Rights
The Services, including all code, design, content, trademarks, and documentation, are owned by UrbanPX, LLC and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. "Almighty," "Almighty Budget," and "Almighty Split" are trademarks of UrbanPX, LLC.
9.2 Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except where permitted by law.
10. Third-Party Services
The Services integrate with third-party providers. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms:
| Service | Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Plaid | Plaid Inc. | Financial account linking and transaction import |
| Firebase | Google LLC | Authentication, data storage, analytics |
| RevenueCat | RevenueCat, Inc. | Subscription management and web checkout |
| Stripe | Stripe, Inc. | Web payment processing |
| Sentry | Functional Software, Inc. | Error monitoring and crash reporting |
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion:
- Budget data — All budgets, categories, transactions, Plaid connections (tokens revoked), recurring rules, account snapshots, wealth data, and your user profile are permanently deleted.
- Split data — Almighty Split runs in a separate Firebase project and is deleted separately, from within the Split app (Settings → Delete Account). Doing so permanently deletes your Split profile, the expenses you created, settlements involving you, your group memberships, and your Split sync-log entries. Expenses recorded by other members of a shared group are their records and are retained; your share remains in the group's history, identified only by an internal account identifier.
- Platform data — Your Almighty ecosystem identity (almightyUID) and sync records are permanently deleted.
- Authentication record — Your account's authentication record, including your stored login credentials, is permanently deleted.
- Uploaded files — Receipt images and your profile photo are deleted from our file storage.
Account deletion is irreversible. Once processed, we cannot recover your data. When you delete your account in the app, deletion runs immediately and normally completes within the same request. In all cases — including requests you send by email — deletion of your live data is completed no later than 30 days after we receive your request. Copies held in our encrypted daily backups are removed as those backups expire, no later than 30 days after your request. Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription; cancel that separately in your account settings.
We recommend exporting your data before requesting deletion.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
- WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
- WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF ANY DATA DISPLAYED IN THE SERVICES, INCLUDING FINANCIAL DATA IMPORTED VIA PLAID.
- IN NO EVENT SHALL URBANPX, LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICES.
- OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UrbanPX, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of the Services.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any third-party rights.
- Any User Data you submit through the Services.
15. Dispute Resolution
15.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@urbanpx.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
15.2 Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in the State of Colorado, or remotely at the arbitrator's discretion.
15.3 Class Action Waiver
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
15.4 Small Claims Exception
Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if the dispute qualifies.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Services ceases immediately.
- We may delete your account and data following termination. Where we do, deletion follows the process described in Section 12.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, and 20.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Publish a new version, with an updated version number and effective date.
- Notify you through the Services or via email.
Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Services and delete your account.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and UrbanPX, LLC regarding your use of the Services, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
