The free tiers are ad-supported: ads are how the free plan stays free. Pro is $9.99/mo or $79.99/year, removes the ads, and unlocks unlimited bank connections, investment tracking, receipt OCR, and percent/exact splits. One Pro subscription covers both apps — there is no second bill.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account in either app. We permanently remove ALL your data within 30 days and instantly revoke any Plaid connections. No retention, no exceptions.
Absolutely. Each app works independently. Having your Split expenses surfaced in Budget for review is a bonus, not a requirement.
